  • Start of distribution of water-saving kits

Public meeting for municipalities of Rauzan and Preignac   

  • Study on the fitting of a pressure modulation system on the Blaye water supply network
  • First visit of the consulting firm appointed by the European Commission (Cabinet ASTRAL) (September)                                                 

2014

  • Water diagnosis in public buildings of volunteer municipalities of the Pimpine catchment area, identification of needs and launch of the work
  • Presentation of the project at the 93rd congress of the ASTEE (French Scientific and Technical Association for Water and Environment) in Orleans (June): “Innovating in local public services for the environment”
  • Feasibility study on the installation of rainwater tanks in volunteer households in the Pimpine catchment area
  • Installation of 6 pressure modulators on 1/4 of the Blaye water supply network
  • Operations to raise awareness and present the project, with participation in:
  • Europe Day
  • Alternatiba
  • Second visit of the consulting firm appointed by the European Commission (Cabinet ASTRAL)

2015

  • Completion of water-saving equipment installation in community buildings
  • Completion of distribution of water-saving kits
  • Last public meeting in Mérignac during Sustainable Development week
  • Start of rainwater tank installation in 66 volunteer households and launch of the feasibility study relating to installation in 4 municipal facilities.                                                         
  • Presentation of the project at the 4th European Regional Meeting: “Water, a common asset to be protected and used wisely”
  • Work with the ISNAB (Bordeaux Institute of Agri-food & Natural Sciences) in the scope of student projects
  • Third visit of the consulting firm appointed by the European Commission (newly appointed NEEMO) (July)

2016

  • Installation of municipal rainwater tanks   
  • Water Observatory web conference: sharing of feedback on pressure modulation (January)
  • Participation in the Life + platform in Manchester (May) and presentation of the project: exchanges with other European project leaders
  • Interview during the OPEN DAYS (October)                                     
  • Participation in an innovation contest in connection with the deployment of pressure modulators (November)
  • Analysis of consumption data, first results of the project’s impact on consumption and the environment

2017

  • Contribution of the project to the European Village in Bordeaux (May), dissemination of first results and actions carried out in the scope of the project
  • Presentation of the project at the 96th ASTEE congress in Liège, Belgium (June)
  • Presentation of the project during the European Week of Regions and Cities 2017 in Brussels (October) (formerly known as OPEN DAYS)
  • Fourth visit of the European Commission’s consulting firm (NEEMO) (January)
